Dr. Belmont Anderson DPM understands that dreams of becoming a medical professional and specializing in a field of training cannot come true without financial resources. Luckily for Dr. Anderson, college was paid for by his incredible ability to dribble, pass and shoot a basketball. We are all born with gifts and talents, but some of these are less obvious methods for paying for school! Through hard work, diligence, and by using scholarship opportunities like this, Dr. Anderson was able to become the Podiatrist he is today. After receiving his education and training form notable institutions such as Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and specializing in advanced techniques for treating diseases of the foot and ankle, Dr. Anderson envisioned ways that he could give back to the community and assist young students achieve their dreams of becoming a medical professional.
“The best part about being a doctor is working with people and genuinely helping them live a more fulfilling and comfortable life. I help relieve my patients’ pain and suffering in their feet and ankles. But, more than this, I help them in a small way to walk, play, travel, work and live a happier life. Each specialist gives value in each of his or her focused area of practice, and that is what keeps us enjoying what we do.” Dr. Anderson said.
