Have you noticed a stabbing, zapping electrical pain in the ball of your foot? You may have performed an online search and come across a thing called neuromas. These are inflamed and irritated nerves between the joints that make up the ball of the foot. This can be a very annoying and painful problem. Wearing bad shoes, going barefoot, and overuse can all lead to the inflammation of a neuroma. There are many different structures that make up the ball of the foot so it is important to properly diagnose the source of the pain in the ball of your foot. Should you have a neuroma, Dr Anderson can provide a variety of treatment options that will cater to your needs and address your pain. Injections, shoe changes, orthotic supports are all great ways to rid yourself the problem of a neuroma. For the occasional few who do not respond to conservative treatments, our doctors provide sclerosing injections which can deaden the nerve and knock out pain profoundly. Surgery is also an option and we are happy to review that with you, but our hope is to get you back to full activity without the down time of an outpatient procedure.

“I called the Dr.’s office yesterday & was able to get in the next day for an appointment about a huge blister on my foot. Dr.’s office explained they help patients with issues that should be attended right away (to prevent patients suffer from infection by waiting). Very thankful for their understanding, I am now able to walk out of the office on the road to recovery. Friendly office personnel and Doctors, I will be coming back for a follow up next week. I recommend this office for their exceptional service.”
